At Resurrection Lutheran Preschool and Day care we take pride in small class sizes, quality teachers and the love of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. We know that without Him we could not provide the level of care that our families deserve. At our school children will learn in a loving and safe environment.
We care for children ages 6 weeks to 5 years. Every classroom is designed around the children’s specific developmental needs as well as their intellectual experiences. Studies show that a child will learn more between birth and 6 years old then they will at any other time in their life. Their will develop 90% of their brain cells by 3 years of age. With these facts in mind we understand the importance of a high quality early learning experience. We also know that the way to create this kind of learning environment is through social interaction, play, exploration, the arts and exposure to literature and language. We encourage children to explore situations together and alone to find solutions to problems be it social, mathematical or anything that has to do with their everyday experiences. We always consider the whole child and that child’s community, family and culture when designing activities for them. We understand that when a child feels secure and loved in their learning environment it encourages them to explore and find answers for themselves while helping their peers.
